Clue: Wall paper paste

Answer: What is things that are white?

Clue: Pie crust

Answer: What is dough? Dough-y?

Clue: Spud like

Answer: What are mashed potatoes?

Clue: It lives

Answer: Asthmagirl's pasty white face! *confetti, applause*

And no, I'm not posting a picture of it. I don't know why I turn whiter than white when I can't breathe... must be that stupid oxygen thing.

The worst appears to be over. I can tell this because instead of sleeping for 12 hours last night, I slept for about 4.5. All systems back to normal! I swear, I will never skip the flu shot again! I was on the phone with our wireless phone dude yesterday.... I'm croaking at him, he's croaking at me and we're both bemoaning the fact that we never got around to the flu shot and sharing what therapies work the best. FYI, he swears by theraflu severe cold- daytime formula. I prefer to max out on tylenol and vitamin water!

So what did I miss while I was jousting with the airways?

You poor girl. Wish I lived closer, I'd make you a pot of soup. At least you have lots of 4-legged nurse maids to cuddle you. Get better soon! (And don't blame the lack of flu shot: I got mine, then got sick anyway, in a one-month sick/well/sick again cycle. Hubs? No shot, no flu so far this year.)

I never, never miss my flu shot. It is the one thing I make sure I get every year, especially since I am in "that age bracket" of those that must have it.Promise us all that you will never forego your flu shot again, Diane!

Oh yeah, got my flu shot...and the kind of flu going around isn't covered by it. Same thing happened last year, but so far, knock on wood, no flu for me!

After my bout with pneumonia and the subsequent brochitis filled winters I never ever never miss my flu shot AND when I feel punk or slightly fa-schtupped nasally I start taking Airborne .. works to keep symptoms minimalized ...

That theraflu stuff is NAS-TEEEE but it works..same with the alka-seltzer cold and flu stuff.. ICK. I lived on dayquil and nyquil and finally squeeked by with most of my faculties intact. I hope you're feeling better soon...I skipped it this year too..next year, lets remind each other ok?
