From the Trenches

The last 2 weeks have been full of the new server, the new workstations, the new laptops, the new software and my same old brain. Which in retrospect reminds me of a few lines from The Princess Bride...

"Have fun storming the castle, boys!"

"Think it'll work?"

"It'll take a miricle!"

"Bye Bye, boys!"

Well, I think we have the financial program working after more than a week of failures. I feel like I've stormed a castle!

In the meantime, company is coming tomorrow and I'll have to move my brain from computer gunk and geek speak to down time and blog speak.

The shot above is from Stirling Castle in Scotland. One of my favorites!

Cheers,

Asthmagirl!

Sounds like an exhausting last 2 weeks. I always hate doing anything new with the computers because it forces me to think harder. Oh wait. That's supposed to be good for me.

;-P

Scotland in beautiful, isn't it? Unfortunately for me, I only got to see a tiny little slice of it and spend only about six hours there. I think a longer vacation there is definitely called for!

Was thinking about you all weekend long and definitely wishing I were with you. Hope it was a blast and I do intend to get out there at some point.
