I snapped this last week on my way to work. Yes, it's quite blurry. But I had the camera on the seat next to me and was able to squeeze off a shot while (ironically) being totally unable to focus.
I thought about this picture over the weekend. First in a kind of "don't forget to download the picture of the upside down car from your camera" mode, and then a "how in the world did the car get upside down in the first place?" mode.
It wasn't raining. It wasn't below freezing. The road is pretty level there. The speed limit is slow. It's congested with rush hour traffic being right around the corner from the freeway ramp. I'm not sure how I would go about getting my car upside down in that particular scenario... not that I would know how to do it in ANY scenario, but that's beside the point.
The more I thought about it, the more I decided the point was... expect the unexpected. Who leaves their house thinking "In 5 minutes, my car will be upside down at the intersection". And secondly, if you do the unexpected and flip your car... "And just my luck, there will be a ditzy blond with a camera next to me ready to document the spectacle".
Wheels down everyone. Wheels down.
