Soul Patch- The Olympic Edition
Friday, February 12, 2010 at 7:08AM
In honor of the Winter Olympics, which are kicking off tonight with the opening ceremony, I present The Soul Patch!
These were given out at the last Seahawks game and while some people busted them out and wore them for the game, I saved mine for this special occasion!
I'd be hard pressed to name my favorite event in the Winter Olympics. Super G? Ski Jumping? Speed Skating? Half Pipe? It's all good!
Do you watch? What's your favorite?
Wishing you all a happy Friday!
AG out!
Special recognition going out to my blend (blog+friend) and blister Shelley, who likely has a house full of people and a front seat to the festivities in Vancouver! Woot!

There's a special place in my heart for the figure skating. J loves the hockey (surprise, surprise) and together we both dig curling 'cause man do those curlers ever get INVOLVED. Whew.
We already had our housefull after the Torch relay - I'm hoping for some nice, quiet family time, where we can all spazz out in private!
BTW, Bill and I were at the dress rehearsal for the Opening Ceremonies - it's going to be AMAZING!! I laughed, I cried, I swelled up with patriotic love. But I can't give you details, or I'd have to kill you.
I LOVE Olympics! So glad they are right in our back yard this time. I am looking forward to watching as much as I can, in real time for once!
I am a fan of the figure skating. I just cant get enough of it! Now I'm off to make myself one of those soul patches! Enjoy the opening tonight. I know I will!

Oh that is funny! I love the figure skating pairs....Bring it on!
I've been trying to view the Baroness's videos but can't since my last name is Flintstone and I have dial-up internet reached by using my toes on a rotary phone.
All the sports involving speed are good-skiing, sledding, cognac in the lodge, and the speed skating. Cognac in the lodge doesn't involve speed, but it does involve the best way to participate in those aforementioned sports.
That's so funny! Apolo and his soul patch really are everywhere!
I like the derring-do of the skiers and snowboarders, the romanticism of the figure skaters and the speed of the luge ... although watching the luge will just be sad now (and scary, I'm sure, for all those participating -- in that AND the bobsled).
I don't normally watch too much of the Olympics, but if someone else is watching I'll sit down for a few and check it out. It's cool that it's in our neck of the woods this time, so I might watch a little more than normal!
I like to watch but have to admit I like the summer Olympics better ;0)
