An unexpected guest...

It's your new "Let's go to Virginia" zit... now with Kung Fu grip increased redness and swelling!

The thing I was least worried about, my skin. Always calm, well cared for, easy going.... Unless you're going to Virginia to meet your friends and then Bah-Boom!

And just for you all, I texturized this photo to downplay the screaming neon red gases that this puppy is emitting this morning. Do you like the cracked face/middle ages/Mona Lisa look? I assure you, it is a vast improvement over the lip deforming zit I am rocking this morning. I used concealer on the tiny little bump yesterday thinking it was a one day-wonder. I seem to have angered it... or somehow fed its inner dragon. I think it has become one of those 5 day/hard lump/ painfully swollen wonders. I am at a loss on how I'm going to get this thing to subside before next Thursday...

Gah!!!

I don't dare laugh at that thing. My hives have finally gone away, and I'm not jinxing myself....;)

It absolutely never fails that when you have plans, especially plans that involve meeting new people, your face will rebel. Good luck getting The Zit under control!

Maybe you could color it brown and pretend it's a sexy mole?!

If it makes you feel any better, and it won't, I woke up yesterday with a zit RIGHT IN THE CORNER OF MY MOUTH where both lips meet. Did I hear someone say HERPES? No, iIt's just a PIMPLE right in the place where HERPES might ordinarily exist on people who have herpes. So happens I don't, but it doesn't matter. Same thing, to parade around town with red thing on lip.

Here's the thing. Nobody around here cares, truly. If ever there was a place to be yourself with no inhibitions and no worries about what people may think, it is here.

Enjoy yourself here. Be yourself. Revel in the wonderful friendships that have been created in this crazy blogosphere. Llaugh, relax and enjoy yourself.

It's gonna be a blast. With or without pimples. I promise. (She says as she fidgets with her pimple.)

I wish I could send you a bit of the Calming Serum I have .. it makes zits vanish, dries 'em up, heads 'em out ... but if you get some teen zit cream it will do the same .. OR take a magic marker and draw an arrow pointing to it on your face for real .. OR do as Linda Ronstadt did on tour eons ago and put some glitter on it ... honest, she really did .. and yes I really knew her back then
