At last!

Yes, the tree is up.
For the first time in the history of the world TOG's and my marriage, I did not pick it out. K3 did! And a lovely job she did!
One significant change from last year... LED lights. I swear, this tree is bright enough to land planes at the airport on a foggy night! We almost went blind hanging the ornaments!
Speaking of ornaments... after I took the picture this morning (for proof that this tree hadn't fallen over and broken half my ornaments), I noted something interesting...
Apparently, this tree throws off ornaments in the middle of the night.
You know what? I feel my holiday spirit rebounding... Game on! We;ll see who wins this little skirmish, me or the tree! Place your bets!

How do you get people to take their shoes off at the door? Any advice on how to convince a HUGE dog and a furry cat NOT to shed in the house?

What I would like to know is: Is it true (according to the Chinese) the cold weather makes asthma worse? My kids had asthma, but thankfully they grew out of it.
