Guess what TOG bid on at the auction?
Yup.
We're going to Cabo for a week... staying in this Villa.
My pasty white skin is already burning.
I wonder if it will be as much fun as this?
I'm a little nervous about this whole south of the border thing. Friends at work have already begun coaching me on how to negotiate with taxi drivers. Ugh.
I wonder if the air is clean? Humid? How will the lungs behave? Why am I having anxiety over this?

I'm sure you will have an amazing time! What a great idea for hte two of you. I don't have to say this but TAKE LOTS OF PICS so we can all enjoy them and weep with jealousy.
I always get major anxiety before traveling. When are you going?! I hope it's sometime in the cold dreariness of Jan, Feb or March!
Cabo is FANTASTIC. We went two years ago in March...it was glorious, and the whales migrate right up the beach in front of you. Do you know where this villa is? I can tell you the great restaurants to go to, and the people are so friendly. There is no unemployment there...everyone is safe and friendly!
Okay, so Cabo is fine. The airport is weird though. You get out on the runway and enter what I swear is a long hallway and then a million taxi drivers etc are screaming at you to go with them...mtry to arrange with your hotel to have someone there with a sign to pick you up...or is the villa a private residence. Otherwise, Cabo feels safe but it's a sad ride (lots of poverty) before you get to the nice area. Once you are there, it's beautiful...really beautiflul. You are lucky.
You will love it. Relax!!!
