I'm sure you've noticed that it's June.

Yesterday, Amy noted that The Baroness and I were wearing jackets. And it's June.

Yesterday, TOG turned the heat back on in the house. It's June.

3 out of the last 5 days, I've been awakened in the wee hours with the dogs plastered to me shivering violently. Why? Because I left the bedroom window open a half inch and the room is now colder than a morgue. I've started sleeping with an extra blanket on the bed in case I have to add heat during the night.

It's June people!

Usually, we turn off the heat in our house in May. There's enough residual heat during the day to keep the house comfortable throughout the entire day. We don't normally turn the heat back on until October 1st.

Yesterday morning it was 44 degrees. It was 63 degrees in the house.

This morning, it's pouring rain. It was raining so hard that Maddie would not go out to do her thing. Usually she'll dash out and dash back even if it's raining. This morning.... no. She won't dash during November/December rainstorms either. So I was a good mom and didi what I do during the winter. I stuck her under my sweats and ran to the side of the house where the rain is less vicious. She did her thing and I stuck her back under the sweats and ran back. It's June.

I'd like to know where my summer is.
