The ordinary day

Last week the Lovely Mrs. G challenged us to document a day in our life, showing the routine that we create for ourselves. I quickly volunteered to do so... because I thought it might be fun. Then my stomach clenched at the thought that others might realize how uninspired my routine is. Then I did it anyway! Off we go!

Wake up at the butt crack of dawn! (I read a lot)

Butt crack

Shower...

2 shower

Wake up the dogs for their morning outing...

4 dogs

Thank goodness the coffee is preset!

5 coffee

Tiptoe through the dark to my office...

6 dark

Where Cassie will beg for lap time...

8 needy

And I will blog and edit pictures...

9 edit

And eat mini wheats with non fat milk...

10 cereal

Until I race upstairs (late) to do my hair...

11 hair products

Which, with good hair products (and 20 minutes with a blow dryer) will end up like this...

12 smooth

Hide blotchy skin...

13 flaws

Scare lungs into submission...

14 scare lungs

Dress... and run for the very tidy garage where our chariot awaits!

15 chariot

Make sure radio is set to comedy...

16 comedy

and off we go...

17 drive

to my office, where I will spend 9 hours...

18 office

...fixing laptops, fiddling with my hepa filter, writing grants and answering questions. On the way home...

19 go home

I'll wait patiently at the train...

20 train

Stop at the store for whatever we're out of...

22 huge

Before pulling back into the garage...

23 home again

Where I'll be greeted by this...

24 welcome

Together, my youngest and I will make dinner and do dishes...

25 dishes

After which we'll play with dogs, change into comfortable clothes, and finally... She'll relax on the sofa, and I'll pop into this chair...

25 chair

And we'll watch Princess Bride...

26 tv

Until it's time to scare the lungs again and go to bed.

And then get up and scare the lungs again.... yada yada!

Asthmagirl out!
